In cooperation with the new National Observatory of Mexico the
Harvard Observatory has agreed to construct the mounting of a

INSTRUCTION AND RESEARCH
With its three observing stations working on unified programmes
with similar telescopes, the Harvard Observatory is enabled to carry
out uniform surveys over the entire sky. The twenty-seven telescopes
which form the basic equipment of the Observatory are listed
in the accompanying table.
