CRAIG MORRIS MERRIHUE, Associate of the Harvard College Observatory, died on March 14, 1965, in his thirty-second year. Mr. Merrihue,
who was killed in a tragic mountain climbing accident on Mount
Washington, had been Research Associate in the Harvard College
Observatory for only a little more than a year.

the meetings of the International Astronomical Union in Cambridge,
England, in July. Members of the Observatory are on eleven
of the international committees of the Union, and take an active
part in the plans, conferences, and reports.
