There is a consequent 32 variability in the winter-spring build-up of extratropical ozone (Fusco and Salby, 1999; Randel et al., 2002), 33 which provides an ozone radiative feedback. The effects on ozone persist through summer and early fall, 34 until the next yearÂ’s dynamical variability resumes (Fioletov and Shepherd, 2003).
